Samaritan Daytop Village

The organization operates three residential treatment centers tailored for veterans dealing with chemical dependency, post-traumatic stress disorder, and various life challenges. These facilities are situated in Manhattan, Richmond Hill, Queens, and Ellenville, NY, with the Ellenville center specifically serving female veterans and providing gender-sensitive treatment in a secure and supportive setting. Additionally, they run the Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF), which offers community-based housing assistance and various support services for at-risk veterans and their families. This includes temporary financial aid, housing counseling, legal service referrals, daily living assistance, personal financial planning, and transportation services.
