This service, mandated by the state and available in every county, focuses on ensuring that vulnerable adults can live safely in the community or in the least restrictive settings. It includes processes for intake, investigation, and evaluation of reports concerning abuse, neglect, and financial exploitation of eligible adults. APS workers collaborate with clients to create service plans that address issues such as physical, sexual, or emotional abuse, neglect, financial exploitation, or unmet essential needs.
Intake Procedure: Concerns or complaints can be reported via phone, fax, or email.
Fees: There are no costs associated with this service.
