The town offers an extensive array of licensing, records, and informational services for its residents. Available licenses and permits encompass marriage licenses, hunting/fishing/trapping licenses, disabled parking permits, dog licenses, block party permits, peddler/solicitor licenses, and racing/wagering licenses. Additionally, the town assists with passport application processing and manages town records and archives. Property taxes are prepared and collected from January until May 31st, after which all documentation is forwarded to the Schoharie County Treasurer's Office.
