This initiative provides nutritious, hot meals in a communal setting and also delivers meals to those who qualify. Registered dietitians offer nutrition education and counseling at meal sites for both congregate and home-delivered meal clients.
Intake Procedure: Reservations are encouraged but not mandatory. Meal schedules differ by location: Montour Falls @ Silver Spoon Cafe Mon-Fri 11am-1pm, Hector @ First Presbyterian Church 10:30am-1:30pm, Monterey @ Monterey Fire Hall Tue 11am-1pm, and Tyrone @ Tyrone Methodist Church Wed 11am-1pm.
Fees: A suggested donation of $3 per participant is requested, while guests aged 60 or younger are charged $6.
