Town Of Canton

The service delivers an extensive array of licensing, record management, and informational resources to the residents of the town. Available licenses and permits encompass marriage licenses, hunting, fishing, and trapping licenses, disabled parking permits, dog licenses, block party permits, peddler/solicitor licenses, and racing/wagering licenses. Additional services include the upkeep of town records and archives. The office is responsible for preparing and collecting property taxes for Canton residents from January until May 31st, after which all documentation is forwarded to the St. Lawrence County Treasurer's Office.
