Delivers an array of licensing, record-keeping, and informational services for town residents, such as access to birth and death certificates. Other licenses and permits are available through the Town of Potsdam. Additional responsibilities include the upkeep of town records and archives, as well as the collection of water and sewer bill payments from village residents. Property taxes for Village of Potsdam residents are prepared and collected from June until September 30th, after which all documentation is forwarded to the St. Lawrence County Treasurer's Office.
