This initiative creates a safe and nurturing environment for young individuals aged 12 to 20 in Suffolk County who are facing crises and require shelter. It operates year-round, offering 24/7 support services for a maximum of 30 days. The program includes case management, individual and family counseling, transportation, meals, clothing, educational support, advocacy, coordination of medical care, referrals, development of life skills, and other vital services.

- Youth aged 12-20 who are homeless or runaways; those aged 12-15 can stay for up to 72 hours, while those aged 16-20 may stay for 30 days. Assistance is available through calls. Access to emergency housing requires a referral from a DSS office or hotline operator. For Nassau County, contact (516)227-8519 or the evening/emergency number at (516)573-8626. For Suffolk County, call (631)854-9517 or the evening/emergency number at (631)854-9100. If ineligible for DSS services, reach out to the Long Island Coalition for the Homeless at (631)464-4314.
