This initiative delivers a range of support services to very low-income Veteran families who either currently live in permanent housing, are homeless and set to move into permanent housing soon, or are looking for new housing options after leaving permanent housing. The services provided encompass personal financial planning, income support, legal assistance, housing search and counseling, vocational rehabilitation through the New York State Department of Labor, employment training via the Suffolk County One-Stop Employment Center, outreach initiatives, peer support, case management, and help in acquiring VA and other public benefits.
