The Department of Labor, Licensing & Consumer Affairs administers the Disability Employment Initiative (DEI) Project, which aims to enhance educational, training, and employment opportunities for adults with disabilities who are unemployed, underemployed, or receiving Social Security disability benefits. This initiative provides integrated Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) services and ensures accessibility for all individuals utilizing the One-Stop Employment Center. Furthermore, the DEI Project offers assistance throughout the employment process and helps individuals with disabilities navigate the resources available at the One-Stop center, regardless of their SSD/SSI status.
