LI Cares runs a food pantry aimed at supporting Veterans, military members, their families, and other individuals in need. The organization hosts Military Appreciation Tuesdays in Huntington Station, Lindenhurst, and Freeport, where veterans and their families can obtain food, personal care items, household goods, pet food, and school supplies. Additionally, veterans receive guidance and resources related to benefits specifically for them. LI Cares also has a Mobile Pantry that brings nutritious groceries to homebound and disabled veterans who cannot reach local pantries.
