This initiative provides housing support for homeless families, which includes overnight shelter, case management, relocation aid, and additional assistance. To access any emergency housing services for homeless individuals, a referral from a DSS office or hotline operator is necessary. For residents of Suffolk County, you can reach out at (631)854-9517 or the evening/emergency line at (631)854-9100. If you do not qualify for DSS services, please contact the Long Island Coalition for the Homeless at (631)464-4314.
Intake Process: Clients are encouraged to call the agency for further information.
Fees: Clients should call the agency for fee-related inquiries.
