The Suffolk County Office for the Aging offers counseling on benefits and entitlements, planning for long-term care, information and referral services, as well as help with applications and advocacy. They also conduct community outreach and educational programs about different services, which can be arranged for community groups upon request. A Senior Advocate is available to aid seniors in applying for various benefits and entitlements, and they also support health providers with insurance issues and claims appeals. To get more information or to schedule an appointment, clients are encouraged to call.
