This initiative delivers a wide range of support services tailored for very low-income Veteran families, whether they are living in permanent housing, are homeless and about to move into permanent housing, or are looking for alternative housing options after leaving permanent housing. The services provided encompass personal financial planning, income support, legal assistance, housing search and counseling, vocational rehabilitation through the New York State Department of Labor, employment training via the Suffolk County One-Stop Employment Center, outreach, peer support, case management, and help in securing VA and other public benefits.
