The psychiatric emergency program at Long Island Community Hospital, known as the Center, provides immediate access to the necessary level of care for you or someone you care about. It operates around the clock, seven days a week, and serves as an important resource for referral information regarding Behavioral Health services available in the community. Please be aware that, due to the pandemic, treatment may be conducted in the main medical emergency room rather than the Access Center.
