The initiative assists individuals and families by offering social advocacy and guidance in the complex process of applying for jobs and accessing social services such as Medicaid, Medicare, and Social Security. With funding from Suffolk County Department of Labor and United Way, it provides paid employment and job training for youth aged 16 to 20. Additionally, in collaboration with the Urban League, it offers paid employment and on-the-job training for adults eligible under Title V of the Older Americans Act.
