This initiative provides educational support to minors below 21 years old in the Riverhead and Yaphank Correctional Facilities, requiring a minimum of 15 hours of instruction weekly to help students prepare for TASC™ or Regents examinations. Additional services include Tutoring, Remedial Education, English as a New Language (ENL), Career and Technical Education, along with Career/Life Planning and anger management. The aim is to assist students in fulfilling the criteria for a Regents, Local, or High School Equivalency Diploma. The curriculum incorporates contextualized learning, career readiness, and skills development into everyday lessons.
