This subsidized apartment community offers 298 garden apartments aimed at providing affordable housing for low-income seniors and younger disabled individuals. It features a community center equipped with an auditorium, lounge, library, card and craft rooms, as well as computers with internet access. Additionally, a bus service is available for weekly shopping and other excursions. A social worker is on hand to provide information, referrals, crisis intervention, and short-term counseling. The complex is federally subsidized through the Housing Assistance Program (HUD) and currently has a waitlist of about 5 years.
Intake Procedure: The waitlist is approximately 5 years long.
