This service provides complimentary curb-to-curb transportation within the township for residents whose disabilities hinder their mobility, making traditional transportation options unfeasible. The handi-van is designed with a motorized wheelchair lift and can accommodate up to eight individuals, including one in a wheelchair. To apply and make a reservation, please call.
Intake Procedure: Reservations are required to be made at least one week in advance. You can call from Monday to Friday between 8:00 am and 3:30 pm. For further details and to book a ride, contact the Transportation Department at (631) 265-8811 or (631) 265-8826.
Fees: The fare is $1 for each trip.
