Child Psychiatry Inpatient/Outpatient Units

The program assesses and treats children aged 5-13 in the inpatient unit for emotional and behavioral issues, utilizing short-term stays ranging from 1 to 12 weeks. Discharge planning encompasses school placement, outpatient follow-up, and family support. Additionally, it offers outpatient psychiatric evaluations and treatments for children, adolescents, and families, which include medical assessments for behavioral disorders, psychiatric evaluations for schools, preschool assessments, and forensic evaluations for various externalizing disorders such as affective disorders, hyperactivity, attention issues, impulsivity, conduct problems, as well as developmental and language disorders.
