Long Island Teen Challenge

This program spans 14-16 months and is divided into three distinct phases. The initial Crisis Phase lasts 6-8 weeks, during which participants reside in a home-like setting, share responsibilities, and are introduced to a curriculum that includes Bible Studies and Christian lifestyles. Following this, the Induction Phase lasts 4-5 months, where students engage in 14 Group Studies for New Christians and Character Quality classes. This phase emphasizes discipline and the application of Christian Principles. Upon completing the Induction Phase, male students finish their program at either the Long Island Center or the Training Center in Rehrersburg, Pennsylvania, where they continue with Bible Studies, workshops, and vocational training. Female students proceed at the main site Ladies Residence.

Intake Procedure: To enter the Crisis Home, individuals must provide a Birth Certificate, Social Security Card, undergo a physical examination, and have blood tests done.
