This initiative offers support to Cornell staff, faculty, retirees, and students facing caregiving challenges, such as locating both local and long-distance adult/elder care and individual care resources. It aids caregivers in identifying and outlining options for current and future needs, exploring local childcare alternatives, and providing care options for parents traveling for work with children. The Caregiver Support and Education Network includes e-lists and regular newsletters featuring local activities and resources for adult care and parenting issues. Additionally, it offers support for prenatal care, birth and delivery planning, adoption, fertility, and lactation in the workplace, along with an Emergency CARE fund for employees, parenting workshops, and childcare grants and benefit consultations. There is no intake procedure or fees associated with this service.
