Ulster County Community Action Committee - Community Outreach Centers Highland

The program aids low-income individuals and families by addressing a range of needs, including benefits information, referrals to necessary resources, advocacy, translation services, and case management support. Services offered include General Assistance, Family Development Plans, Emergency Food, Emergency Shelter, Housing Assistance, Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP), Weatherization Assistance, Head Start and Early Head Start, mass distribution of fruits and vegetables, Information and Referrals, employment and job training, Food Pantry, Clothes Closet, Lifeline Safe-Link Telephone Service (Kingston), on-site Notary Assistance (Kingston), free bread and donated produce distribution on Wednesdays (Highland), Translation Services (Highland), Summer Youth Program (Highland & Ellenville), and transportation funds available as vouchers with UCAT (Highland). Bilingual services in Spanish and English are also provided (Ellenville) along with a Free Farm Stand.
