Family Counseling Service Of The Finger Lakes

This organization creates a welcoming environment for individuals and families, irrespective of sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression. It provides individual and group support, including counseling for LGBTQ+ individuals and their families, assistance in locating gender-affirming care, and help with DASA (Dignity for All Students Act) and discrimination issues. Additionally, it offers educational presentations, support for name changes, domestic violence assistance, and YANA (You Are Not Alone), a peer-led support group for LGBTQ+ youth. The Transgender & Gender Expansive Coalition of the Finger Lakes and Haven, a less formal gathering for LGBTQ+-identifying adults, focus on community building. Intake can be done by walking in or calling for more information, and services are provided at no cost.
