The Business Enterprise Program (BEP) offered by the New York State Commission for the Blind (NYSCB) creates pathways for blind individuals to acquire the necessary training and skills to oversee vending facilities situated in Federal and state office buildings throughout New York. Upon finishing a comprehensive training program, BEP managers gain expertise in various facets of retail management, including product purchasing, inventory control, marketing strategies, maintaining customer relations, and accurate record-keeping.
