Greater Mental Health Of New York
Community Resource
Acerca de este recurso
This initiative provides trained volunteer advocates to support children who have experienced abuse or neglect, especially those in foster care or at risk of being placed in foster care. CASA volunteers ensure that the child's medical, mental health, and educational needs are addressed while assisting the court in determining the child's best interests. Typically, volunteers work with one or two families, dedicating their time and efforts to help the court and child welfare system create the most suitable long-term plan for the child.
Intake Procedure: Contact for Information or Send an Email
