Family Counseling Service Of The Finger Lakes

This organization establishes a welcoming environment for individuals and families, irrespective of sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression. It provides individual and group support, including counseling for LGBTQ+ individuals and their families, assistance in locating gender-affirming care, and help with DASA (Dignity for All Students Act) and discrimination issues. Educational presentations, support for name changes, domestic violence assistance, and YANA (You Are Not Alone), a peer-led support group for LGBTQ+ youth, are also available. Additionally, the Transgender & Gender Expansive Coalition of the Finger Lakes and Haven, a less formal gathering for LGBTQ+-identifying adults, focus on community building. Intake can be done by walking in or calling for more information, and services are provided at no cost.
