This initiative provides temporary support and services to individuals and families who meet income eligibility requirements, with the goal of fostering self-sufficiency. Available services encompass Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) or Family Assistance, Safety Net Assistance (targeted at single individuals or childless couples), as well as employment and food stamp benefits. Additionally, low-income families can access childcare subsidies to help cover childcare costs, allowing them to maintain employment. Families may choose to use a registered childcare provider, an informal caregiver, or a relative.
