This program provides in-home support to eligible seniors residing in their own homes. Services offered encompass housekeeping, personal care, laundry, shopping, and meal preparation. Additionally, it includes case management to assist seniors in making cost-effective and suitable choices regarding their care requirements. The number of service hours per individual varies based on assessed needs and local funding, typically ranging from 5 to 20 hours monthly. Oregon Project Independence may be suitable in situations such as when someone needs personal and home care support due to an injury or illness, or when recovering at home after hospitalization.
