Options counselors assist individuals in making well-informed decisions regarding long-term care by evaluating their strengths, needs, preferences, and unique circumstances. They provide insights into support strategies, action plans, and available community options. Options Counseling may serve as an independent service or transition into Older Americans Act Case Management (OAA).
