This initiative assists individuals with mobility challenges in accessing local beaches by supplying two beach wheelchairs and Mobi mats. Mobi mats are portable, non-slip, and rollable, enhancing beach accessibility by forming temporary pathways for those utilizing mobility aids like wheelchairs and walkers. Beach wheelchairs are designated for specific beach access points only.

Intake Procedure: For additional information, please visit the website or call. Rentals for beach wheelchairs operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Please note that during severe weather warnings, the wheelchairs will not be available for checkout.

Fees: There are no rental fees; however, a $20 security deposit is required for beach wheelchair rentals.
