This program provides temporary financial support for individuals seeking Social Security benefits and also aids with the application and appeal processes. Recipients must repay a portion of any benefits they receive. It is important to note that this is not an emergency assistance program, and the processing of applications may take between 3 to 6 months.

- Applicants must fulfill the following requirements: -Aged 18-64 without minor children in the home -Currently homeless or facing imminent homelessness -Have a condition that qualifies for Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) -Not currently receiving SSDI or SSI -Must have applied or intend to apply for SSDI or SSI, and if applicable, are appealing denied awards -Must be receiving Presumptive Medicaid assistance.
