Counselors offer insights into support strategies, action plans, and options available within the community. Options Counseling can serve as an independent service or may lead to Older Americans Act Case Management (OAA), which supports individuals needing ongoing assistance to maintain independence. Care coordinators help with problem-solving, advocacy, and connecting participants to resources and community support to improve quality of life and future planning for later years.
