The program connects seriously ill children and teens undergoing treatment with trained, volunteer adult mentors. These mentors engage in activities such as playing games, listening to music, sharing hobbies, and offering companionship. Additionally, a JoyRx mentor can allow parents some time to relax, whether that means enjoying a cup of coffee, consulting with doctors, or spending quality time with their other children.

- Families with children aged 0-18 receiving treatment for cancer or other serious illnesses at Randall Children's Hospital at Legacy Emanuel or Doernbecher Children's Hospital.
