This division is responsible for managing complaints regarding the Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP). Multnomah County acts as the administrative Community Action Agency, receiving funding from Oregon Housing and Community Services (OHCS) and subcontracting these resources to various culturally and geographically focused social service organizations.
Intake Procedure: -Contact only to report issues with LIHEAP, not to file complaints against specific agencies distributing energy assistance -For help with utility payments, reach out to the individual agencies that provide energy assistance funding.
