This center serves as a hiring location for day laborers who can assist with tasks such as yard maintenance, moving services like furniture placement, packing, and loading (note that transportation is not provided), as well as cleaning, painting, and construction projects.
Intake Process: To schedule a worker, either call or visit the website. Employers are welcome to come to the Worker Center during operating hours to select workers, but it is advisable to call in advance to confirm availability. For those interested in becoming a member and securing work, please inquire about the current orientation schedule by phone.
Fees: The hourly wage varies based on the nature of the work, required skills, and complexity. The average pay is typically around $25 per hour, but this may change depending on the specific job. A minimum of four hours is required for any assignment. There are no discounted or subsidized services offered.
