Community Action Program Of East Central Oregon

This program provides in-home support for older adults residing in their own homes. The services encompass housekeeping, personal care, laundry, shopping, and meal preparation. Additionally, it includes case management to assist older adults in making cost-effective and suitable choices regarding their care requirements. The number of service hours per individual can vary based on assessed needs and available local funding, typically ranging from 5 to 20 hours weekly. Oregon Project Independence may be suitable in situations such as when a person needs personal and home care support due to injury or illness, or when someone has been discharged from the hospital and requires assistance during their recovery at home.

Travel/Location: Access is through the front lobby doors located on SE Byers Avenue, on the building's south side.

Fees: Costs are determined on a sliding scale, based on monthly household income after deducting monthly medical expenses.
