This service provides in-home assistance to older adults residing in their own homes. The offerings include housekeeping, personal care, laundry, shopping, and meal preparation. Additionally, case management is available to support older adults in making informed and cost-effective choices regarding their care requirements. The number of service hours per individual can differ based on assessed needs and available local funding, typically ranging from 5 to 20 hours weekly. Situations where Oregon Project Independence might be suitable include: - When someone needs personal and home care support due to injury or illness - When a person has been discharged from the hospital and requires assistance during their recovery at home.
