It is staffed by master's-level clinicians who specialize in providing crisis counseling over the phone. Additionally, it can connect callers to follow-up treatment options for ongoing support and services, regardless of their eligibility for county-funded assistance. If a crisis cannot be managed through the call, the service may refer the caller to a nearby emergency room or send the Washington County Mobile Crisis Team to their location.
