The initiative emphasizes the importance of nurturing the parent-child bond to ensure the healthy growth and development of children. Home visitors assist parents in fostering a caring and positive relationship with their infants during each visit. Parents receive guidance on subjects such as child development, infant care, and maintaining their baby's health, while also learning about community resources available for new families. A qualified home visitor provides coaching to families, helping them enhance their parenting skills and ensuring their baby remains safe, healthy, and engaged in learning.

Intake Procedure: Interested individuals can call, text, or email for information and to sign up.

Travel/Location: The service is based at the Willamina School District complex, situated in a modular unit behind the school next to Virginia Garcia.
