Emergency assistance is provided through vouchers for those who qualify, which can be used for rent (if facing eviction), security deposits (with a lease agreement), utilities (like heat, electricity, and water when a shut-off notice is issued), and other urgent needs.
Intake Procedure: Applicants must complete an Emergency Assistance Application with a voucher writer, including the social security numbers of all adults in the household, their address, and the specific assistance required.
Fees: No cost involved.
