Climate Support is a service related to health and social needs (HRSN) provided by the Oregon Health Plan. It includes devices designed to keep individuals safe during climate-related events. The devices covered are intended solely for use in the member's home or primary residence and may consist of: -Air conditioners, heaters, and air filters for maintaining clean air and comfortable temperatures -Mini refrigerators for storing medications at low temperatures during power outages -Portable power sources for running medical devices such as ventilators during power interruptions. Members are eligible for HRSN climate services only once throughout their lifetime.

- To qualify, members must: -Have a qualifying living situation for HRSN services -Possess a health condition that complicates or endangers them during climate events -Reside in a location with electricity -Be able to safely utilize the device. For air conditioners or air filters: -Must not already own one -Must have received medical assistance currently or within the last 12 months from OHA, ODHS, or Medicare -Must be at risk for heat-related illnesses due to being 65 years or older, being a medically fragile child, or having a medical condition exacerbated by heat or smoke.
