Climate Support is a health-related social need (HRSN) service offered by the Oregon Health Plan. The HRSN Climate Supports consist of devices designed to ensure safety during climate-related events. These covered devices are intended solely for use in the member's home or primary residence and may include: -Air conditioners, heaters, and air filters to maintain clean air and comfortable temperatures -Mini fridges to keep medications cold during power outages -Portable power supplies to operate medical equipment like ventilators during power interruptions. Members are eligible to receive HRSN climate services only once in their lifetime.

Members of Columbia Pacific CCO must meet specific criteria, including having a qualifying living situation, a health condition that complicates climate events, access to electricity, and the ability to safely use the device. For air conditioners or air filters, they must not already possess one, have received medical assistance in the past 12 months through OHA, ODHS, or Medicare, and be at risk for heat-related illness due to age or medical conditions.
