The initiative offers financial assistance of up to $300 for veterinary care to seniors with low income. It includes coverage for cats, dogs, non-exotic small mammals, reptiles, and birds, allowing support for a maximum of two pets annually. Participation requires collaboration with a designated veterinarian, and applications must be submitted prior to the scheduled appointment.
