The program offers food benefits to assist Washington state residents, including those who are legal immigrants, in supplementing their income. The monthly benefit amounts differ depending on the household size, income, and living expenses. Additionally, it provides vouchers for food lost during significant disasters.
Intake Procedure: To apply, individuals can call, visit the website, or go to any Community Services Office (CSO) to get an application. Following the submission of an online or paper application, applicants will receive a letter detailing the interview requirements. It is necessary to provide a Social Security number for each person included in the application. Applications must be submitted by December 19, 2024, to qualify for replacing food lost in the latest disaster.
