This initiative provides residents with access to electric vehicles, aiming to decrease carbon emissions while also minimizing transportation expenses. Users can share the electric vehicles by reserving them for specific times.
Application Steps: Download the Green CarShare app and fill out a brief driver application.
Costs: There are no fees involved.

- Residents of Orcas Island must have a valid Washington state driver’s license, be at least 21 years old, carry personal car insurance with a minimum of $100,000 liability per occurrence, and maintain a clean driving record for the past three years to join the car-share program.
