This program offers legal counsel and representation for family law matters specifically aimed at survivors of domestic violence living in Seattle who earn less than 200% of the Federal Poverty Level. A referral from a domestic violence advocate is mandatory.
Intake Procedure: It is essential for clients to be referred by a domestic violence advocate. If a client does not have an advocate, they can reach out to one of the following organizations for support and a possible referral to the Seattle DV Project: New Beginnings: (206) 522-9472, LifeWire: (425) 746-1940, or DAWN: (425) 656-7867. Clients who wish to communicate in ASL via video phone should also be directed to CLEAR*ASL, regardless of whether they are referred to the CLEAR line.
Fees: There are no charges for these services.
