This program seeks and assesses families interested in adopting children who are currently under the care of the Department of Children, Youth, and Families.
Intake Procedure: Interested parties should call, and the intake line is open to collect calls.
Fees: There are no associated fees.

- General adoption has no restrictions, while Special Needs Adoption is available for families with a child under 18 who is legally free, has special needs, and is either in state-funded foster care or eligible for federal adoption assistance.
