The Housing Choice Voucher Program, previously referred to as Section 8, delivers long-term monthly rental support to qualifying households. The Housing Authority does not own any properties; instead, participants are responsible for finding housing that meets the authority's approval. Additionally, for a limited duration, those eligible for rent and utility assistance may also be able to receive help with water payments.

- To qualify, a household's income must not exceed 50% of the area median income as defined by HUD, and participants are required to contribute at least 30% of their gross adjusted income, with a maximum of 40%. The housing unit must also pass an inspection.
