The Ombudsman serves as an advocate for individuals living in nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and other residential care establishments licensed by the Utah Department of Health, addressing and resolving the issues faced by elderly residents. They assist residents in handling complaints and provide information to both residents and their families regarding their rights.
