Huntsman Mental Health Institute & Crisis Line

This facility provides inpatient care for children and adolescents who are experiencing an acute mental health crisis and cannot remain safe in less restrictive settings. Patients receive safety monitoring and diagnostic clarification, while a clinician formulates a personalized treatment plan and medication regimen. The hospital features a Child Unit for ages 5 to 11 and an Adolescent Unit for those aged 12 to 18. Unlike residential treatment, stays are typically brief, lasting 5 to 7 days.
